Lola's New Leash on Life Dog Training Program
MCFACC is pleased to offer dog training, taught by a dedicated professional trainer. The objective is always to help the dog become adoptable, help the dog remain at home, and arm the humans with tips to help them better understand and manage a dog.
Dogs eligible for training are categorized:
1) Shelter dog residing at the Montgomery County Care & Adoption Center (MCACAC).
2) Adopted from MCACAC.
Dog is demonstrating some behavioral issues after adjustment period within new home.
3) Fostered from MCACAC.
Dog either has known behavioral issues or is presenting challenges in foster home.
4) Resident owned (in Montgomery County).
Dog is demonstrating behavioral issues not able to be managed by the owner. Dog is at risk of being surrendered to shelter.
