Meet Snow, this week’s adoptable pet. Snow and her sister Cocoa were surrendered to the shelter over two months ago after their owners became homeless. Snow’s sister was recently adopted and her new owner says she is a great dog and has adjusted well. We know Snow would be a great companion too if given the chance. Going on a year old now, Snow has started losing her puppy energy and has mellowed a lot.
She is a sweet and loving girl, but at times can be a little anxious and nervous around new people and other dogs. We are not sure what she is mixed with…the owners stated she and her sister were full blooded pit bulls, but we know they are not. We call them our Dalmatian/Jack Russells due to their spots and ability to jump great heights.
