Second Chance Adoption Program

The Second Chance Adoption Program (SCAP) is a special adoption program that involves a more in-depth adoption process for dogs selected by FACC based on the conditions described below and approved by a vote of the FACC Board of Directors.

Dogs considered for SCAP are dogs who were at risk for euthanization, have behavior issues that have prevented adoption in the past, or who have experienced severe neglect or abuse. The goal for this program is to place dogs with appropriate, carefully vetted adopters to ensure a properly matched, forever home.

At this time we do not have any SCAP dogs.  Please continue to check out our website.
