FACC will be selling Cotton Candy at the Summer Solstice Festival on Saturday June 22nd from 1 until 8 in downtown Blacksburg. All profits will go towards helping shelter dogs. Do you have an hour or two to spare? Please consider volunteering to help out at the cotton candy stand! Use the Contact form to let us know you would like to help raise money for the dogs.
The 2014 FACC calendars should be available by Steppin Out, the first weekend in August. We are looking forward to seeing all the great pictures of your dogs in the calendar!
Do you have a group that would like to help fundraise ?
We always appreciate assistance from groups who wish to support FACC’s efforts. Your group can host a self‐organized fundraiser or volunteer as a group at one of our concession stands at the Virginia Tech football games, men’s basketball games, or graduation. If hosting your own fundraiser, please coordinate with us so that we can provide you with our brochure to distribute at the fundraiser and specific advice on messaging. Your group can also organize a supplies drive. We maintain a current wish list of items needed at the shelter on our Donate page. Spring Football Game Fundraiser
FACC volunteers raised $1,550 for FACC at the spring football game. Thanks to everyone who volunteered and everyone who bought food and drink from our concession stand.
State Workers Help Shelter Dogs
Numbers just in! State workers are donating $5,628 to FACC in 2013 through the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign! All donations go towards improving the lives of dogs at the shelter. Thanks to everyone who donated!
