As a fundraising project that will support our mission and goals for a better life for the dogs at Montgomery County Animal Shelter, we are sponsoring “Fools for Dogs”, an afternoon of family bowling fun at the NRV SuperBowl in Christiansburg. Our event will take place on Sunday, April 6th from 1-3 pm. Please arrive between 12-1pm to signup.
Entry fee for a team of 4 is $80
This includes 3 games, shoes, and chances to win various donated door-prizes!

Another successful year with our wonderful supporters!
What a great day of golf and helping out the animals of Montgomery County! We are glad you could join us again this year for a wonderful day. Every year we continue to improve our prizes and the 5th annual Swing for the Shelter looks to be our best yet!

Steppin' Out 2007
- Date: Friday & Saturday, August 3rd & 4th
- Location: Downtown Blacksburg (Our booth will be in the same location as last year, in the parking lot next to the Farmer's Market on the corner of Roanoke & Draper.
We always have a great time at Steppin' Out and this year was no different! It was by far our most ambitious undertaking since starting the group. We sold Doggie Biscuits again as well as tickets for a raffle that included some great prizes donated by a number of local buisnesses. Check out our cool Big Red Dog House in the pictures below!
Thanks to everyone for helping us raise $1,470!! All money raised from Steppin' Out was added to our "Build a New Shelter" Fund.

A Bowling Fundraiser sponsored by MCFACC, Inc.
The Montgomery County Friends of Animal Care & Control, Inc. hosted the first annual Fools for Dogs bowling fundraiser on April 1st , 2007 at the NRV Superbowl. There were great prizes and a good time had by all. More details will be posted soon. Thanks to everyone who came out for a fun couple of hours and we look forward to doing this again next year!!

Another successful year!
What a great way to help out the animals of Montgomery County and enjoy a beautiful day on the golf course! We hope you will join us again next year for another wonderful day. Every year we continue to improve our prizes and the 4th annual Swing for the Shelter looks to be our best yet!
