Help Sell Cotton Candy!
FACC will be selling Cotton Candy at the Summer Solstice Festival on Saturday June 22nd from 1 until 8 in downtown Blacksburg. All profits will go towards helping shelter dogs. Do you have an hour or two to spare? We need volunteers to help at the stand. Use the Contact form to let us know you would like to help raise money for the dogs.
Dog Walking
Dog walking on Saturdays between the hours of 11:30 and 4:00. Never come out before? The first time you visit the shelter to walk dogs, please come to the office and fill out a volunteer form. Our dog walking coordinator will then help you get started.
Concession Stand Program
FACC volunteers staff a concession stand during Virginia Tech events. FACC receives a portion of the proceeds while also raising awareness of the shelter. To date we have made approximately $14,500 through our program – money that is spent helping shelter dogs.
